Full Program Announcement!
The event "Sexual Economies, Care, and Social Markers of Difference" is coming soon, taking place at USP (University of São Paulo) from December 8th to 11th, at the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences (FFLCH) and the Faculty of Public Health (FSP).
Throughout the program, we will bring together activists and researchers from different areas to discuss central themes on sexual economies, care, and social markers of difference—reflecting on gender, sexuality, race, class, and other axes.
The full program is now available and includes two panel discussions, a lecture by Prof. Dr. Ana Paula da Silva (UFF), a workshop with Prof. Dr. Laura Murray (UFRJ), and sessions for presentations and discussion of research.
The two panel discussions, the lecture, and the workshop will be streamed online via YouTube, ensuring that more people can follow the conversations and participate in the debate.
Participate, share, and come build this political space for reflection and dialogue with us!
The event is an initiative of students from the Postgraduate Program in Social Anthropology (PPGAS/USP), in partnership with the project "Cosmopolitics of care at the end of the world: gender, borders and pluriepistemic agencies with collective health" (FSP/USP) and with the Center for Studies of Social Markers of Difference (NUMAS/USP).
