The XI National Meeting of the Brazilian Association of Cemetery Studies (ABEC) seeks to bring together researchers on topics related especially to cemeteries, as well as studies on death, mourning and funerary cultural heritage, among others. The purpose of the meeting is to promote the dissemination of research and strengthen cemetery studies through multidisciplinary approaches from areas such as history, anthropology, architecture, philosophy, arts, sociology, psychology, to name just a few of them. moreBetween July 3rd and 9th, 2024, registration will be open to participate in the Preparatory Workshops for the selection of admission to the Postgraduate Program in Social Anthropology at USP.
The course is based on the project mentoring cycle and is organized by an independent collective of students from the Program and its purpose is to increase the participation of black, indigenous, quilombola people, those who belong to traditional peoples or communities, people with disabilities and trans people in postgraduate studies, especially in Social Anthropology courses.

Kelly Koide has a PhD in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo (USP), with an internship at Université Lyon I. She is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Anthropology at USP, where she carries out research on the trajectory and work of Claudia Andujar and Maureen Bisilliat.
