This event is part of the RESPIRO Study Series, an initiative linked to the RESPIRO project—“Restoring Fire Diversity in the Cerrado”—a FAPESP Young Researcher Project developed under the BIOTA-FAPESP Program. The project investigates the role of traditional peoples and communities in the production, maintenance, and restoration of pyrodiversity in the Cerrado, bringing together anthropology, fire ecology, agrobiodiversity, traditional agricultural systems, remote sensing, archaeology, paleoecology, and audiovisual production. The RESPIRO Study Cycle is supported by CHAMA—Collective for Anthropology, Environment, and Biotechnodiversity, IRL 2034 Worlds in Transition, the BIOTA-FAPESP Program, and the Laboratory of Image and Sound in Anthropology — LISA/USP, Center for Amerindian Studies — CEstA/USP, USP Graduate Program in Social Anthropology — PPGAS/USP, and FFLCH/USP.
